- Authors write the manuscript following the journal’s Manuscript Guidelines.

- The author submits the paper through the journal’s online submission system.
- The system requires metadata (author info, keywords, abstract) and asks for a main manuscript file.
- The author selects the open access (OA) option, meaning the paper will be freely accessible if accepted, often under a Creative Commons license (e.g., CC-BY).

🧑⚖️ Double-Blind Peer Review
Reviewer Selection:
The editor selects expert reviewers with relevant subject expertise, ensuring they have no conflicts of interest, to provide fair, unbiased, and thorough evaluations of each manuscript.
Double Blinding:
- Reviewers don’t see the authors’ identities.
- Authors don’t know who the reviewers are.
Evaluation:
- Originality and significance
- Methodology and data quality
- Clarity and presentation
- Ethical and reproducibility standards
Decision & Feedback:
- Each reviewer submits a report and recommendation (accept, revise, reject).
The editor synthesizes these and issues a decision (major/minor revision, rejection, etc.).
📝 Revision and Resubmission
- Authors respond to reviewer comments in a point-by-point rebuttal letter.
- They revise and resubmit a blinded version if the review is still ongoing.
- The revised manuscript may go through one or more rounds of review.
✅ Editorial Decision
- After reviewers and the editor are satisfied, the paper is accepted.
- The editorial team then unblinds the author details.
🌍 Open Access Publication
- The publisher concludes the copy-editing, typesetting, and final proofing process.
- The author reviews and confirms the galley proofs for accuracy.
- Once approved by the author, the publisher generates the finalized PDF and HTML formats of the article.
- The manuscript is subsequently published online as an open-access resource, assigned a DOI, and made available under a Creative Commons license permitting reuse with proper attribution.
Post-Publication
- The article is freely accessible worldwide.
- It’s indexed in global databases by Publisher.
- Authors can share the article on repositories, institutional pages, or social media according to the OA license.
